Printed in Grand Rapids, the final result of the Christ In All The Scriptures project was a classically laid, hardbound book covered with a ruby red linen, chosen for it’s ability to stand out on a bookshelf amongst a collection of other beautiful books. The gold inlaid illustration on the front cover was made in Illustrator of vector graphics and used to symbolize the wholeness of the goal of the 365-day devotional as well as the completeness of seeing Jesus’ impact through every story in the Bible.
Along with Haven’s legacy of creative musical arrangements is their brand’s commitment to a nautical theme, as a way of visually showing that what they offer is to be a safe haven in heavy times and in a culture of darkness. Employing this into the artwork was important to me in order to visually bridge both the audio and visual elements together into this CD cover.
